PITTSBURGH PA – September 9, 2007 – Giant Ideas is pleased to announce that they have been awarded the national American Institute of Architects (AIA) account after a month long review. Located in Washington DC, the AIA represents more than 80,000 architects on a national, state and local level. Giant Ideas was awarded the account after competing in several rounds of presentations at AIA headquarters in Washington. "Giant Ideas impressed us," said Phil Simon, Managing Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the AIA. "not only with their excellent creative, but also with their strategic thinking and processes. We were looking for an agency partner that could take us in new directions and that would spearhead our sustainable building initiatives. Giant Ideas clearly understood us, the sustainable issues and our goals moving forward."
The AIA sees the issue of creating more sustainable buildings and communities as the most important issue facing architects and the world, into the future. "We currently work with several clients in this field and have gained a vast amount of knowledge about sustainability that we were able to draw on for the AIA." said Bryan K.
